Companion Care



All Providence Companion Care employees are required 8 hours of in-service training a year. Topics covered during training include:

  • End-of-life care-giving (Bereavement and clinical component of the dying process)

  • Personal care
  • Homemaking
  • Meal preparation
  • Wound care prevention
  • CPR and AED certification (mandatory every 2 years)
